Gender employment gap by degree of urbanisation

In 2017, Latvia's gender employment gap by degree of urbanisation increased by 48.3% compared to 2016, reaching 12.9.

Latvia accounts for 36.4% of the EU-27 total of 35.4.

Latvia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.4% (from 10.8 in 2012).
