In 2023, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty threshold for a single household increased by 3.0% compared to 2022, reaching 7,937.

Latvia ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 31.9% (from 6,018 in 2018).
