In 2024, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty threshold for a single household increased by 11.3% compared to 2023, reaching 8,833.

Latvia ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 33.4% (from 6,619 in 2019).
