In 2025, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by detailed age group increased by 1.1% compared to 2024, reaching 37.5.

Latvia accounts for 232.9% of the EU-27 total of 16.1.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.3% (from 37.4 in 2020).
