In 2023, Latvia's net occupancy rate of bed-places and bedrooms in hotels and similar accommodation (NACE rev. 2, i, 55.1) (from 2012 onwards) increased by 2.9% compared to 2022, reaching 35.5.

Latvia accounts for 72.2% of the EU-27 total of 49.2.

Latvia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 18.6% (from 43.6 in 2018).
