Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1982, Lithuania's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1981, reaching 65.7.

Lithuania ranks 16th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.8% (from 66.2 in 1977).
