Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1985, Lithuania's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.8% compared to 1984, reaching 65.6.

Lithuania ranks 18th out of 20 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.3% (from 65.4 in 1980).
