In 2007, Lithuania's passenger cars, by type of motor energy and size of engine decreased by 0.3% compared to 2006, reaching 1,587,903.

Lithuania ranks 18th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 34.5% (from 1,180,945 in 2002).
