Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1980, Lithuania's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 1.6% compared to 1979, reaching 69,194.

Lithuania ranks 18th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.2% (from 60,044 in 1975).
