Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2011, Lithuania's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 0.9% compared to 2010, reaching 3.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 4.1%.

Lithuania ranks 13th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 100.9% (from 1.9% in 2006).
