Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2020, Lithuania's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 36.1% compared to 2019, reaching 5.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.3%.

Lithuania ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.3% (from 4.6% in 2015).
