Gender employment gap by degree of urbanisation

In 2023, Lithuania's gender employment gap by degree of urbanisation increased by 87.5% compared to 2022, reaching 4.50.

Lithuania accounts for 14.7% of the EU-27 total of 30.6.

Lithuania ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 34.8% (from 6.90 in 2018).
