In 2025, Lithuania's median of the housing cost burden distribution by degree of urbanisation decreased by 1.1% compared to 2024, reaching 9.10.

Lithuania accounts for 59.1% of the EU-27 total of 15.4.

Lithuania ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.0% (from 8.20 in 2020).
