In 2020, Lithuania's persons participating in tourism for personal purposes decreased by 28.8% compared to 2019, reaching 510,517.

Lithuania accounts for 0.4% of the EU-27 total of 140,347,769.

Lithuania ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 32.8% (from 760,204 in 2015).
