At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 8.7% compared to 2022, reaching 18.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Luxembourg ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.6% (from 16.7% in 2018).
