At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2016, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.3% compared to 2015, reaching 21.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Luxembourg ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.4% (from 20.3% in 2011).
