At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2016, Luxembourg's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 5.7% compared to 2015, reaching 16.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 18.2%.

Luxembourg ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.5% (from 14.5% in 2011).
