Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, Luxembourg's employment rates by citizenship increased by 2.7% compared to 2006, reaching 56.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 57.0%.

Luxembourg ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.9% (from 51.5% in 2002).
