Employment rates by citizenship

In 2023, Luxembourg's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.8% compared to 2022, reaching 73.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 75.1%.

Luxembourg ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.2% (from 70.6% in 2018).
