Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1971, Luxembourg's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1970, reaching 173,291.

Luxembourg ranks 22nd out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.5% (from 169,100 in 1966).
