Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1978, Luxembourg's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.5% compared to 1977, reaching 183,289.

Luxembourg ranks 23rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.7% (from 176,670 in 1973).
