Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1980, Luxembourg's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.8% compared to 1979, reaching 185,475.

Luxembourg ranks 24th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.9% (from 180,167 in 1975).
