Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1982, Luxembourg's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.5% compared to 1981, reaching 187,550.

Luxembourg ranks 24th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.8% (from 182,372 in 1977).
