Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1989, Luxembourg's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 1988, reaching 192,270.

Luxembourg ranks 24th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 187,877 in 1984).
