Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1987, Luxembourg's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 1986, reaching 179,700.

Luxembourg ranks 24th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.9% (from 178,050 in 1982).
