Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2010, Malta's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 7.1% compared to 2009, reaching 11.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 11.6%.

Malta ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.3% (from 10.9% in 2005).
