Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2018, Malta's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 6.1% compared to 2017, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 12.9%.

Malta ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.8% (from 12.8% in 2013).
