Population structure indicators at national level

In 2000, Malta's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 1999, reaching 36.3.

Malta ranks 20th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.2% (from 34.5 in 1995).
