Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2009, Malta's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.5% compared to 2008, reaching 13.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 23.9%.

Malta ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 24.1% (from 11.2% in 2004).
