Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2020, Malta's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.4% compared to 2019, reaching 88.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 85.4%.

Malta ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.2% (from 89.6% in 2015).
