At-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status - EU-SILC survey

In 2019, Malta's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status increased by 1.6% compared to 2018, reaching 6.50.

Malta accounts for 71.4% of the EU-27 total of 9.10.

Malta ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.2% (from 5.50 in 2014).
