At-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status - EU-SILC survey

In 2020, Malta's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status increased by 13.8% compared to 2019, reaching 7.40.

Malta accounts for 84.1% of the EU-27 total of 8.80.

Malta ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 34.5% (from 5.50 in 2015).
