At-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Malta's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status increased by 11.8% compared to 2023, reaching 8.50.

Malta accounts for 103.7% of the EU-27 total of 8.20.

Malta ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 30.8% (from 6.50 in 2019).
