At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2018, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 9.0% compared to 2017, reaching 13.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Netherlands ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 12.6% in 2013).
