Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2020, Netherlands's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group increased by 0.3% compared to 2019, reaching 69.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 70.0%.

Netherlands ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.9% (from 67.8% in 2015).
