Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2021, Netherlands's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group increased by 1.4% compared to 2020, reaching 70.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 69.8%.

Netherlands ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.6% (from 69.0% in 2016).
