In 2021, Netherlands's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status decreased by 7.1% compared to 2020, reaching 5.20.

Netherlands accounts for 58.4% of the EU-27 total of 8.90.

Netherlands ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.1% (from 5.60 in 2016).
