In 2025, Netherlands's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status increased by 12.8% compared to 2024, reaching 5.30.

Netherlands accounts for 63.9% of the EU-27 total of 8.30.

Netherlands ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.4% (from 5.60 in 2020).
