In 2024, Netherlands's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status decreased by 9.6% compared to 2023, reaching 4.70.

Netherlands accounts for 57.3% of the EU-27 total of 8.20.

Netherlands ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 14.5% (from 5.50 in 2019).
