At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2006, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 6.8% compared to 2005, reaching 7.8%.

Poland ranks 23rd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.4% (from 7.0% in 2001).
