At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2006, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 6.7% compared to 2005, reaching 12.5%.

Germany ranks 18th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.2% (from 12.0% in 2001).
