At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2011, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.6% compared to 2010, reaching 17.6%.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 17.6%.

Poland ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.9% (from 18.5% in 2006).
