At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 8.4% compared to 2021, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Poland ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.4% (from 14.9% in 2017).
