At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2021, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.9% compared to 2020, reaching 15.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Poland ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 11.5% (from 17.4% in 2016).
