In 2016, Poland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 13.0% compared to 2015, reaching 126,392.

Poland ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 45.1% (from 230,247 in 2011).
