In 2017, Poland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 15.4% compared to 2016, reaching 106,923.

Poland ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 53.7% (from 230,751 in 2012).
