At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2005, Portugal's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.6% compared to 2004, reaching 18.7%.

Portugal ranks 5th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.6% (from 19.0% in 2000).
