At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2005, Italy's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 2004, reaching 17.6%.

Italy ranks 8th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.2% (from 18.0% in 2000).
