Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Portugal's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 10.8% compared to 2006, reaching 9.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 12.7%.

Portugal ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.5% (from 8.8% in 2002).
