Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2016, Portugal's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.4% compared to 2015, reaching 14.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.6%.

Portugal ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.5% (from 13.9% in 2011).
